INGREDIENTS 

  • 3-4 small onions fire-roasted 

  • Ginger  fire-roasted 

  • 10 Garlic cloves 

  • Few curry leaves

  • Coriander leaves 

  • ½ dry coconut, fire-roasted 

  • 2 tbsp Shilpas masala mill usal- Misal Masala 

  • ½ tsp Shilpas Masala Mill Everyday Masala 

  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder 

  • 1 cup matki, soaked and sprouted 

  • Oil 

  • 1onion chopped 

  • 1tomato, chopped 

  • Curry leaves 

  • ½ tsp cumin seeds

  • Pinch of hing 

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Heat oil and fry garlic, coriander, ginger, dry coconut, curry leaves  and onion for a few minutes

Grind to a fine paste and keep aside

Heat kadhai with oil 

  • Add jeera,hing, curry leaves and onions and fry 

  • Add tomato and fry for a few mins 

  • Add powdered masalas and fry for 2-3 minutes

Add vatan masala( paste) and fry 

  • Add matki and mix well

Add hot water, salt and sugar

  • Simmer covered until matki is cooked

That’s it, your delicious Nashik Matki Misal is ready 

  • Serve hot with sev, lemon slice, raw onions and pav or Jowar bhakris
