SAMBHARIYA KHICHADI January 29, 2021 Shilpa Anand INGREDIENTS ¾ cup basmati rice ¾ cup split green mung dal1tbsp ginger garlic paste2cups chopped coriander leaves¼ cup garlic leaves Salt to taste2tsp cumin-coriander powder ¼ tsp turmeric2tsp red chilli powder 3-4 small onions3-4 small potatoes3-4 small baingan ( purple eggplants) ¼ tsp hing 2-3 tbsp GheeWater INSTRUCTIONSWash and soak the dal and rice for 30 mins Mix together the coriander leaves, garlic leaves, and powdered spices.ginger-garlic paste and salt to make stuffing masala Cut the vegetables to be able to stuff the masala into them Stuff the vegetables and reserve excess masala to use later Now heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add dry red chillies Add the stuffed vegetables and fry for 3-4 mins Add the remaining reserved masala and fry for 1min Add more seasoning and spices if required Add rice and fry for 1-2 mins Add water and pressure cook until done That’s it, your healthy and nutritious Sambhariya Khichadi is ready Enjoy with a dollop of ghee, pickle, papad and Kachumber SPICE LEVEL:🌶
