BRAIDED CHICKEN PUFFS

INGREDIENTS for the filling 

  • ½ cup onion chopped

  • Oil or 2tbsp butter

  • 1tsp ginger Garlic paste 

  • Bell peppers

  • Spring Green onion 

  • Corn 

  • ½ kg Boneless  Chicken 

  • Olives ( optional)

  • 1-2 tsp Chicken powder

  • 1tsp Red chilli flakes

  • 1tsp Black pepper 

  • Paprika

  • ¾ tsp salt 

  • Cumin powder

  • Soya sauce 

  • Worcestershire sauce 

  • Vinegar 

  • Mustard sauce 

  • Mayonnaise 

  • 1tsp Oregano or mixed herbs 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • HEAT butter in a pan 

  • Add onions , ginger and garlic.

  • Add chicken and fry for few mins

  • Add vegetables 

  • Add all the spices and salt 

  • Sauté for few mins 

  • Add soya worcestershire and vinegar

  • Add mayo and mustard

  • That’s it, 

  • Cool the filling 

other INGREDIENTS 

  • puff pastry sheet 

  • Parchment paper 

  • Shredded Cheese

Let’s make it 

  • place puff pastry sheet on parchment paper

  • Cut diagonally on both sides leaving space in the middle

Add the filling in centre

  • Top off with shredded cheese

  • Add another layer of filling 

  • Alternatively place one strand over the other to create a braid

Place in a baking tray 

  • Brush with egg wash 

  • Sprinkle sesame and nigella seeds 

  • Bake for 25-30 mins 

  • Bake at 385F and turn up to 400 f last 5 mins to get golden colour

That it, delicious braided  chicken puff is ready
