MOHAMMED ALI ROAD FAMOUS STREET SNACK - KHEEMA BAIDA ROTI (chicken mince egg roti)

Ingredients for chicken mince 

  • ¼ cup oil 

  • 2-3 green chillies paste 

  • 1tbsp ginger garlic paste 

  • ¼ cup onions,chopped 

  • Less than ¼ cup tomatoes, chopped 

  • 1tspShilpas masala mill Kashmiri red chilli powder 

  • ¼ tsp Shilpas Masala mill Special Garam masala 

  • ¼ tsp coriander powder 

  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder

  • Coriander leaves, chopped

  • 1cup chicken mince 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MINCE 

  • heat oil in a pan 

  • Add onions, ginger garlic paste and sauté for a few mins 

  • Add tomatoes and cook for 2-3 mins

Add powdered spices and chicken mince

Fry for few mins 

  • Add water and cook until mince is ready and mixture is dry 

  • Garnish with coriander leaves

Your kheema is ready 

INGREDIENTS FOR DOUGH 

  • 1cup maida ( or mix whole-wheat and maida  together )  

  • Oil 

  • Warm Water 

  • Salt 

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Knead a soft dough and rest for 1 hour 

  • Make balls 

LET'S MAKE BAIDA ROTI 

  • beat one egg in a bowl

Add little onion and coriander leaves 

  • Add 2-3 tbsp of chicken mince to it

Roll out the dough into a thin roti shape (use oil on the surface when rolling out the dough)

Transfer to a plate or wide bowl for easy  handling

  • Add the egg and kheema mixture into the roti

Fold and make an envelope shape

Heat up a pan and add oil

Fry this Baida roti until golden on both sides ( 5-6 mins each side on a low med flame)

That’s it ,your Mohammed Ali Road ka famous Kheema Baida Roti is ready

Serve hot with onions, lemon wedge and Green onion and pudina chutney
