Eggless NUTELLA BRAIDED SHARE AND TEAR BREAD breadchocolateeggless dessertseggless recipesbaked goodsTea time snack 12 Feb Written By Shilpa Anand INGREDIENTS 370 gms of maida ( 3 cups) 40 gms (2 tbsp) sugar ½ tsp salt75 gms(⅓ cup) butter softened250ml(1cup) warm milk 7 gms ( 2 tsp) instant yeast Nutella INSTRUCTIONSin a bowl add milk, yeast and sugar. Give a good mix Add butter Add flour, salt ( little at a time) and combine Transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead the dough for around 15 minutes until it’s soft and elastic Transfer the dough ball to a greased bowl for first proofing. Add a little oil to the surface of the dough ball too Leave for 1.5-2 hrs or until it doubles in size Punch down the dough to de gas and divide into 4 equal portions Keep them covered Roll out one portion into a circle with a 10-inch diameter I’ve used a 10-inch lid to cut out the perfect circle shape Transfer this to a baking tray with butter paper Spear Nutella over this circle leaving an inch of gap around the edges Now roll out the other dough ball in the same manner and place it over the first Smear Nutella in the same manner Repeat the same for the third dough ball Roll out the last dough ball and place it over the third circle Take a cookie cutter(2.5-inch diameter) and make an indentation in the centre. This is the centre of the star-shaped bread Now divide the circle into 16 parts making skits with a knife making sure the knife goes through all the layers Next twist the adjacent 2 slits outwards Twist outwards a second time and pinch the ends to seal and to create the tapered effect Cover with a cloth and allow to proof for the second time for around 30-40 minutes Preheat oven to 200c After second proofing if u find the bread has lost some of its shape , then seal the edges again and readjust Brush with little milk and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and baked through Apply some butter once baked That’s it, your easy Nutella Tear and Share is ready Enjoy with coffee VARIATIONS TO TRY with the stuffing Jam of your choice Creamy cheese filling Pesto Pizza toppingsCinnamon sugar Chai spice Garlic and cheese Spinach and cheese Shilpa Anand
