GOBHI PEPPER FRY July 24, 2020 Shilpa Anand Gobhi Pepper FryCauliflower pepper FryThis recipe is a quick and easy but delicious and flavorful dish made with pepper masala .It is a healthy dish ( as it is not deep fried) which is suitable for vegetarians, vegan as well as keto friendly.Enjoy as a side with Rotis or rice.GOBHI PEPPER FRYINGREDIENTS300-350 gms of cauliflower, cut into florets and soaked in hot water for 5-10 mins1 ½ tsp of whole peppercorns1tsp fennel1tsp cumin seeds(jeera)2-3 dry chilies1inch cinnamon stick3 cloves1-2 tbsp oil1tbsp crushed ginger and garlic1med onion chopped¼ tsp turmeric powderSalt to tasteChopped coriander leaves for garnishA few curry leavesINSTRUCTIONS Dry roast fennel, peppercorns, cinnamon, dry chilies, cloves, and jeera on med-low for 2-3 mins until fragrant. Do not burn the spices Grind the spices to a powder Heat oil in a pan Add ginger garlic and curry leavesSauté for a minAdd chopped onion and sauté for 1-2 minsAdd cauliflower floretsAdd salt and turmeric powder. Mix well Cover and cook on low flame for 5-8 minsNow add the prepared spice powderMix well Cook on low flame for another 5-6 mins or until cauliflower florets are cookedGarnish with coriander leavesSwitch off gasYour easy and delicious gobhi pepper fry is readyServe hot with Rotis, phulkas
