SCHEZWAN EGG SANDWICHES

INGREDIENTS

  • 4bread slices 

  • 2tbsp Schezwan sauce 

  • 2 tbsp green chutney 

  • 2 boiled eggs, peeled and roughly chopped 

  • ½ onion chopped

  • 1-2 tbsp mayonnaise 

  • Coriander leaves, chopped

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • ½ tsp Pav bhaji masala or chaat masala( optional) 

  • ¼ th Capsicum, cut

  • Butter for toasting sandwich 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix together the eggs, mayonnaise and schezwan sauce 

  • Add other ingredients except for green chutney 

  • Adjust seasoning 

  • Put green chutney on one bread slice and schezwan sauce on the other bread slice 

  • Add the egg mixture in between the slices 

  • Smear butter on the bread slice and place it to toast on a hot griddle or tavaa with the butter side down 

  • Once it’s golden on that side carefully flip it around 

  • Toast both sides until golden 

  • Remove, slice and you are done 

  • Your delicious schezwan egg toast sandwich is ready

Serve with ketchup and chutney
