SPROUTED MOTH BEANS CURRY - MATKI CHA RASSA April 18, 2021 Shilpa Anand INGREDIENTS 1cup Matki, soaked and sprouted Oil TurmericJeeraOnion, roasted and charred on gas Ginger garlic paste Red chilli powder Salt Shilpa’s Masala Mill Special Garam masala Kala masala (Shilpa’s Masala Mill Special Goda Masala)2-3 tbsp Dry coconut Curry leaves 1tbsp roasted Chana powder INSTRUCTIONS heat oil in kadhai Add jeera and turmeric. Add Matki and water and cook it until 60 % done Heat little oil and roast onion, coconut until brown Switch off flame and Add chilli powder and ginger garlic paste Cool and grind everything with curry leaves to smooth paste Heat oil in kadhai Add the paste Add kala masala Add garam masala and salt Add hot water and keep frying until water dries out Add Matki and cook on slow flame for 10 mins Add roasted Chana powder dissolved with hot water to thicken the gravy Cook for another 5-10 mins That’s it Zhanzhanit Matki Cha Rassa is ready Serve garnished with coriander Enjoy with bhakris , chapatis and rice SPICE LEVEL:🌶🌶🌶
