CHICKEN IN HOT GARLIC SAUCE December 17, 2020 Shilpa Anand INGREDIENTS for marinade 1-2 eggsSalt to taste2tsp ginger garlic paste2tbsp maida4tbsp cornflour1 tsp Pepper powder400 gms boneless chicken, cut into cubesINSTRUCTIONSMix everything well and leave the chicken to marinate for 1 hourDeep fry the chicken pieces until golden brown Keep aside INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE7-8 spring onion bulbs, chopped1 green chilly, finely chopped4 tbsp chopped garlic½ tbsp chopped ginger2 tbsp garlic paste4 tbsp red chilli sauce 10 tbsp tomato sauce 4 tsp soya sauce1tsp black pepper powder1tsp vinegar4 cups chicken stock Cornflour slurry Capsicum cubesOnion cubesCoriander leaves and spring onion for garnish INSTRUCTIONSHeat oil in a pan Add spring onion bulbsFry for 1-2 mins Add green chilly, chopped garlic and ginger and fry for 1-2 mins on high flame Add garlic paste and fry for a minAdd all the sauces, black pepper powder and vinegarCook for a minAdd chicken stock and simmer for few mins Add cornflour slurry to adjust consistency Add capsicum cubes, onion cubes and fried chicken Add chopped coriander and cook on low heat for 2-3 minsThat’s it, your chicken in hot garlic sauce is ready Garnish with spring onions and serve with fried rice or fried noodles SPICE LEVEL:🌶🌶
