SEAFOOD BOIL WITH CAJUN BUTTER GARLIC SAUCE December 29, 2020 Shilpa Anand INGREDIENTS FOR CAJUN SAUCE1 onion, grated4-5 cloves garlic, chopped1tsp brown sugar5tbsp Cajun seasoning mix( oregano, paprika, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, chilli powder, black pepper) ½ cup Sprite½ cup Seafood broth/chicken broth 1tbsp Oil100-150 gms salted Butter1tbsp Hot sauce 1tsp Soya sauce OTHERS2-3 Sweet corn, boiled4-5 Potatoes, boiled Prawns, deveinedSquid, cleaned and cut Mussels, crabs etc( optional) Sausage, chopped and browned Boiled eggsINSTRUCTIONSHEAT oil in a pan Add chopped onions and sauté for few mins until onions are translucent Add butter Add garlic and sauté for 2-3 mins Add Cajun powder Add sprite and seafood broth Add brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, soya sauce and hot sauce Simmer until slightly thickened Reserve some sauce to use later In the same pan add prawns and cover and cook for a few mins Add squid and cover and cook Now add all vegetables, egg, seafood to the Cajun butter sauce and simmer for few more mins That’s it, your super delicious Seafood Boil with Cajun Butter Garlic sauce is readyAdd parsley/coriander leaves for garnish Toss well and serve hot with rice, salad and lemon wedges Enjoy!SPICE LEVEL: 🌶
