METHI NA GOTA (METHI PAKORA)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1tbsp roasted and coarsely ground black pepper

  • 1 tbsp roasted and coarsely ground coriander seeds

  • 1 cup fenugreek leaves, washed and chopped

  • 2 tbsp garlic, crushed

  • 2 tbsp ginger, crushed

  • 2 tbsp green chilli paste

  • ½ cup coriander leaves chopped

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • ½ tsp Hing

  • 1 ½ cup besan 

  • ½ tsp lemon juice

  • Salt 

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • Water as needed 

  • Oil for frying 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a bowl add methi with all other ingredients except besan , baking soda and lemon juice

Now add besan, water  and make thick batter using water

Heat oil for frying 

  • Add 1 tbsp of hot oil to the batter 

  • Lastly add baking soda and lemon juice to the batter and immediately start frying the gotas

  • Fry on medium flame until golden

Serve hot with chutney, sliced onions and fried green chilies
