MAHARASHTRIAN STYLE MATKI CHA RASSA July 12, 2021 Shilpa Anand INGREDIENTS 1cup matki ( moth beans), soaked and sprouted 2onions, chopped1tomato,chopped 4-5 tbsp garlic, ginger and dried coconut paste ¼ tsp turmeric powder2tbsp Shilpa’s Masala Mill Usal-misal masala 1tbsp onion garlic masala Salt to taste Oil Cumin seeds Pinch of hingSmall piece of jaggery ( optional) Coriander for garnish INSTRUCTIONSheat oil in a pan Add cumin seeds and hing Add onion and fry add tomato and fry for few more mins add the powdered masalas and the dried coconut paste Continue to fry ( add little water if masala starts to burn) Add matki and mix well Add salt Add hot water and cover and cook for 15 mins or until matki cooks Adjust seasoning That’s it, your delicious Matki Cha Rassa is ready Enjoy with chapatis, rice, bhakri SPICE LEVEL:🌶🌶
