Kerala style Chicken KONDATTAM is a popular dish in the Malabar region. This is a very spicy dish where boneless chicken pieces are marinated with spices, fried and then sautéed in masala.Chicken Kondattam is a quick and easy dish that is ready in minimal time.   • ½ tbsp Lemon juice or vinegar 

  • Salt to taste

  • ½ tsp pepper powder

  • ½ tbsp ginger garlic paste

  • ½ tsp dark soya sauce 

  • ½ tsp soya sauce 

  • 1tbsp Rice flour

5-6 dry red chilies10 shallots , sliced2-3 green chillies ½ tsp ginger garlic pasteCurry leaves1-2 tbsp tomato ketchup ½ tsp Garam masala½ tsp Crushed red chilli flakes½ tsp Crushed Black pepper1-2 tsp Red chilli paste ( or red chilli powd…
  • 5-6 dry red chilies

  • 10 shallots , sliced

  • 2-3 green chillies 

  • ½ tsp ginger garlic paste

  • Curry leaves

  • 1-2 tbsp tomato ketchup 

  • ½ tsp Garam masala

  • ½ tsp Crushed red chilli flakes

  • ½ tsp Crushed Black pepper

  • 1-2 tsp Red chilli paste ( or red chilli powder ) 

  • 1tbsp Coriander powder 

  • Oil

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients mentioned in the marinade.

Keep for atleast an hour ( overnight is best) Heat oil in pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces

Add little water if needed

Add the fried chicken and sauté for 2-3 mins
